Haaksbergen attracts hundreds of thousands of long-stay or short-stay visitors each year. They are attracted by the beautiful areas given over to nature, by the pretty, varied landscape and by the large number of tourist attractions. Visitors particularly value the peace and quiet and the open spaces.

You can cycle or walk in Haaksbergen - but also go horse riding, play golf or swim There is a dense network of recreational cycling, walking and horse riding tracks, including those that take in the wide areas of natural beauty. The cycling paths are maintained by volunteers.
