Attractions

Every year thousands of people take trip on the (steam) train. The Buurtspoorweg Museum Foundation maintains a tourist railway link with steam locomotives and other historical rail material between Haaksbergen and Boekelo.

The station (1884) has been restored and the entire railcard given the atmosphere of the start of the 20th century, with turntables, water towers, workplace, locomotive sheds and signal box (1867). For more information please consult: www.museumbuurtspoorweg.nl.
