Haaksbergen is much desired as a place to live. Making your home in Haaksbergen is a many-faceted thing: attractive new neighbourhoods, characteristic homes, historical buildings, residential complexes for the elderly and rural life.
Between 2004 and 2015 Haaksbergen is to build approximately 900 dwellings, some of them in new neighbourhoods, others within the present built-up area. This new construction work is being carried out principally in the main part of the town and to some extent in two villages that belong to Haaksbergen.
